About Project

Designed by Yeşim Kozanlı Architecture, the Radisson Blu Hotel Kaş is a masterful embodiment of the essence, history, and natural splendor of Kaş. This experience-centric design seamlessly integrates the region’s rich heritage with contemporary comforts, evoking a sense of “I am new, yet intrinsically connected to this place” throughout the property.

Situated in Kaş, a picturesque district on Antalya’s western coast renowned for its azure waters, natural beauty, and historical significance, the hotel’s design draws deeply from the area’s topographical and cultural context. The region’s storied past, extending back to 3000 BC and including landmarks such as the ancient city of Antiphellos and the Lycian granaries, profoundly influenced both the architectural and interior design of the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Traditional architectural elements -such as natural stone facades, Turkish-style tiles, and wooden joinery- have been adapted into the design with a modern sensibility, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The hotel is conceived as a sanctuary of comfort, blending the familiarity of home with a heightened sense of luxury. It aims to offer guests an environment where green spaces and simplicity are integral, encouraging social interaction and providing experiences that extend beyond conventional hospitality.

The architectural design embraces a low-rise profile, large open areas, and a human-scaled, minimalist aesthetic that pays homage to the region. The integration of local colors and textures is evident both indoors and outdoors, enhancing the connection with the natural surroundings. Earth tones dominate the palette, reinforcing the hotel’s environmental synergy and fostering a serene ambiance.

Attention to detail is paramount, with careful consideration given to lighting, acoustics, and air quality to elevate interior comfort. Stone flooring and bespoke ceramics reinforce the nature-inspired design philosophy, while glass facades and sliding panels create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing the tranquil rhythm of nature to permeate the interiors. The hotel’s contemporary artworks, adorned with traditional motifs, and its restaurant, which presents Kaş’s gastronomic heritage with modern flair, further enrich the guest experience.

The traditional “village plaster” technique adorns the walls, combining aesthetic appeal with natural insulation. This technique, coupled with earth tones, imparts warmth and tranquility to the rooms, harmoniously blending modern design with nature. The guest rooms and suites are designed for spaciousness and comfort, with a color palette and textures that reflect the surrounding landscape.

Outdoor spaces are meticulously landscaped with native flora, capturing the essence of Kaş’s natural environment. The poolside and outdoor sushi bar provide ideal settings to enjoy the region’s gentle breezes, with thoughtful separation of sunny and shaded areas enhancing the indoor-outdoor experience. The spa, designed with natural materials, offers a peaceful retreat, while the hotel’s commitment to waste management, energy efficiency, and water conservation underscores its dedication to preserving Kaş’s natural beauty and minimizing environmental impact.

In sum, the Radisson Blu Hotel Kaş is a testament to thoughtful design that respects and celebrates its locale, offering guests a harmonious blend of history, nature, and modern luxury.
