Turkish Stones has officially joined the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) as a Corporate Member, representing the Turkish natural stone sector worldwide. Landscape Architect and Türkiye IFLA Delegate Barış Işık participated as a speaker at the IFLA World Council 2025, held at the Centre des Expositions de Nantes, presenting the company’s vision on sustainability, low carbon footprint, and creative design. This milestone highlighted Turkish Stones’ commitment to promoting the values of Turkey’s natural stone industry on an international platform.

The delegation also expressed gratitude to Burcu Bumin Tibet, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Nantes, for her support during the opening of the congress and her warm reception at her office. Appreciation was extended to Türkiye’s former IFLA Delegate, Yasin Otuzoğlu, for his presentation on evolving landscape architecture practices, and to IFLA President Dr. Bruno Marques for his ongoing support of the global landscape architecture community. Their contributions underscored the collaborative spirit driving the sector forward.

Looking ahead, the next IFLA Congress will be held in Hong Kong, where the host country will ceremoniously take custody of the IFLA flag. Turkish Stones will be present at the event, continuing its engagement on the global stage and carrying forward its mission to highlight Turkey’s natural stone heritage and innovation in landscape architecture.
