The jury members for the “Best Use of Stone” category, supported by Turkish Stones, have been announced for the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025. The festival, which has served as an important gathering for the international architectural community for over a decade, will take place in Miami between November 12-14.
During the Best Use of Stone award session, the designers of the six finalist projects will present the nuances of their designs utilizing natural stone to a distinguished panel of three expert jurors. The jury, chaired by Interior Designer and Academician Bhadri Suthar, founder of gRID Architects, Director Bruno Mendes, founder of Woods Bagot, and Architect Emre Arolat, founder of EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture.
The Best Use of Stone award is intended to honor completed architectural projects that exemplify innovative and exemplary applications of stone—a material esteemed for its versatility and enduring strength. Through this recognition, Turkish Stones seeks to illuminate the transformative potential of stone within the realm of contemporary architecture.
