Situated on the 30th floor of a skyscraper in Levent, the bustling heart of Istanbul’s business district, the Zeren Group Office project exemplifies an innovative vision for contemporary workspaces. To maintain the impressive spatial volumes—with ceiling heights soaring up to eight meters in certain areas—an open ceiling system was employed, deliberately exposing mechanical installations, electrical conduits, fire suppression units, and structural components.
Designed to capture panoramic vistas of Istanbul, the office layout prioritizes transparency, ensuring all employees enjoy the rich visual context of their surroundings. Departments are delineated through glass partitions, facilitating the free flow of natural light and cultivating a bright, airy atmosphere. Acknowledging the occasional necessity for privacy, particularly within executive and meeting rooms, retractable curtain systems have been seamlessly integrated throughout to provide adaptable spatial configurations.
The Zeren Group’s corporate identity resonates throughout the interior via a dynamic color palette, where vibrant shades of red are elegantly balanced by sleek stainless steel surfaces, forging a lively yet professional ambiance. To enhance circulation, transitional zones and room corners are softened with rounded forms, creating an intuitive flow that guides occupants naturally through the space.
Given the high occupancy density and soaring ceilings, diverse materials have been strategically utilized to mitigate acoustic challenges. Floor carpeting, curtains adorning glass partitions, and suspended acoustic felts from the ceiling work harmoniously to reduce echoes and sound reflection.
Beyond individual workstations, considerable emphasis has been placed on the quality of communal areas. Plush seating arrangements and large verdant plants in sculptural metal planters foster a nature-inspired environment. Curated artworks from the employer’s private collection imbue the space with an artistic character, providing employees with an inspiring visual experience.
The Zeren Group Office embodies a progressive design philosophy, seamlessly integrating aesthetic appeal with functional excellence to create an open, adaptable, and inspiring environment tailored to the evolving demands of modern professional life.
